Don Draper is an eyewear model, Joan pitches haircolor, Pete Campbell pimps pomade and Peggy Olson promotes face powder in a series of ads created by AMC targeting Emmy Award voters for Mad Men. The characters pose for fictional products such as "The Madison Avenue Collection" and "Statuette's Clothiers" in the '60-style effort, which nicely captures the tone of the show (and has clearly thought hard about what kind of brand each character most resembles).
Sterling, Cooper & Partners would be proud of the work. But, according to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC worked with The Martin Agency to create the campaign, with a bit of help from Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner. It includes one-sheets, billboards and digital banners. Mad Men last won a Primetime Emmy in 2011 (after a four-year winning streak) but the show, now in its final season, is hoping for a comeback in August.
