In a world where the boundaries are blurring between real and fake news, Amazon's newest campaign for "The Man in the High Castle" has managed to fool some Americans in true "War of the Worlds" style.

Last week, Amazon started running fictional radio broadcasts promoting the drama series -- the ideas is that DJs have secretly hijacked the airwaves to keep the memory of a former America alive under a Nazi regime. The #ResistanceRadio campaign, by digital consultancy Campfire, was devised to keep viewers engaged in-between seasons of the show, and features a playlist of classic 1960s songs, which have been reimagined by producers Sam Cohen and Danger Mouse, to reflect the show's universe in which the Axis powers won World War II.

But some of the broadcasts were taken seriously, and got Trump supporters sounding off on Twitter about what they perceived to be a real movement, reports Mashable.
